Case Circumstances
Owens was last seen on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at a nightclub in Cruger, Mississippi. His tan Chevrolet Malibu was later found stuck and abandoned on County Road 75 in Carroll County, Mississippi. A security camera from a nearby hunting club recorded footage of Owens' vehicle passing the club however there is no footage of a car or person leaving after Owens' car is seen driving down the road. Authorities performed searches of the area on foot and with helicopters finding no sign of Owens. There were no footprints found around the vehicle at the time it was found abandoned according to law enforcement. As of 2019, authorities state that there has not been a single lead turned in regarding Owens' disappearance. He has not been seen or heard from since. His case remains unsolved at this time.
