Case Circumstances
Gardner left Tupelo, Mississippi on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 en route to Grenada, Mississippi. Family members stated that she may be traveling with two men in an unknown vehicle to meet an acquaintance. On June 3rd, 2021, Gardner's vehicle was found abandoned at a convenience store at the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Grenada. Her vehicle had been there since May 29th. Authorities released a statement to the public shortly after locating Gardner's vehicle that they had reason to believe that she was in danger or possibly deceased. Reginald Daniels and Brandy Hyde Williamson were later arrested for Gardner's murder. At trial, Daniels plead guilty to manslaughter in Gardner's murder, while Williamson plead guilty to accessory after the fact. At this time, Ms. Gardner's body has not been located and she remains missing at this time.
