Roberson was reported missing by family in late December 1997. During the course of the investigation, authorities discovered that Roberson was last seen with a man named Russell Davis. Officers went to Davis's home to follow up on the tip and found his body in his backyard. He was the victim of a homicide. Roberson's vehicle was still parked in the driveway of Davis's home. Roberson was never located and his case remains unsolved at this time.
